One of the nation’s leading consulting firms for business strategy, operations, technology and human resources planning is seeking a Senior level consultant to conduct employee benefits diagnostic/planning studies, prepare managed care plan design and pricing studies, manage/conduct competitive vendor search and selection initiatives, prepare financial projections and COBRA rate development, review health plan performance, including reviewing and negotiating policy year settlements and premium rate/administrative fee renewals, prepare client presentations and reports, and conduct other general health & welfare consulting activities. Requirements: Strong understanding of health care plan design and alternative delivery systems, including consumer directed health plans with HRAs and HSAs, Knowledge (plan design and pricing) of other health & welfare benefit plans (e.g., life, disability, dental, etc.), Strong client presence, Technical background in underwriting and other areas of health care finance, and Ability to work well in team-based environment Project management, presentation, and facilitation skills |
