Retirement Plan Actuary/Consultant opening in Ohio. Seeking a technically strong actuarial consultant to contribute at all levels of service delivery; assume the management of several existing Defined Benefit (DB) clients and work with other practices (defined contribution, non-qualified, and stock-plan services) to develop new client relationships including managing other DB team members in delivering DB administrative services. Responsibilities: manage the actuarial and administration services for multiple clients; serve as primary contact for several clients; lead client presentations; participate in product development and other internal initiatives; manage or assist other team members in delivering special projects as needed; review actuarial results, special studies, complex benefit calculations, and other technical communications for other team members; create and monitor timelines and budgets, develop proposals for special projects; mentor and develop junior staff; partner with professionals from other departments to develop new business relationships; plan design, non-discrimination testing, asset liability modeling, international benefits, non-qualified plans, plan terminations, mergers/acquisitions, multi/multiple employer plans, government plans.
