The Chinese Actuarial - Career Opportunities

Lead Actuarial Consultant opening(s) in New Jersey. Act as resource to Home Office management and to the country operation on all matters actuarial and financial relating to the assigned country(ies). Analyze and explain assigned country's financial results and business plans to senior management. Review quarterly actuarial submissions for reasonableness, including GAAP reserves, DAC, Earnings by Source, Embedded Value and Expense Gap; work with country management to assist with actuarial training, systems and reporting needs; review pricing of new products developed in the countries; provide advice and actuarial support to the country as needed; work on mergers and acquisition projects for assigned country; participate in all conference calls and New York / country meetings of a financial nature; develop relationship with country's Chief Financial Officer and key actuarial personnel; assist assigned country by doing pricing or providing other actuarial services as needed. FSA/ASA with 2 years experience with pricing individual life insurance products, US GAAP for life insurers, and financial reporting of fixed and variable annuities. Salary $open. (PR5160*/5161*)
