The Chinese Actuarial - Career Opportunities

Experienced DFA modeler/consultant opening in Pennsylvania. Take a lead role in the technical support and sale of DFA software product. Interact with the senior management of insurance companies and their actuaries/modelers and become DFA product expert, lead technical demonstrations of the software, lead client and “Trial User” training and support (answering questions, trouble-shooting client models, etc.); promote product through speaking engagements, development of sample models, and participation at industry conferences; assist in product enhancements/software development; lead modeling consulting projects (client model building, etc.). Minimum of 3 years DFA practical experience with actuarial consulting or Big 4 CPA consulting firm or equivalent with primary focus on P&C insurance and a minimum 10 years of specific P&C work; Actuary or PHD in Math/Statistics, excellent understanding of P&C financials and impacts of reinsurance thereof (Quota Share, Excess of Loss, ASL, Cat program, Loss portfolio transfer). Current hands on experience in model building, good Excel skills, and DFA skills (e.g., @Risk); strong presentation skills; experience with Enterprise Risk Management a plus.
